Ninth Island
Ninth Island, although often shrouded by ocean mists, is visible from our vineyards in northern Tasmania. The island is a wildlife refuge for penguins and a vast array of native birdlife, while the waters surrounding it play host to a variety if sea life including dolphins and seals.
The island’s name was chosen for our range of wines which capture the distinctive cool climate flavours of Tasmania. It is our winemaking philosophy to preserve the crisp, fragrant, fresh fruit flavours and aromas in our Ninth Island wines. These 100% estate grown and produced wines are suited to early consumption.
