This Sauvignon Blanc stands out from the rest and shows it’s cool climate origins with it’s complexity and lively mouth feel. With musk, cut grass and passionfruit flavours it’s a pleasure to drink with seafood, spicy asian food or all by itself.
Brilliant pale straw colour. The nose is lively with perfumed musk, cut grass,
and passionfruit. Clean and crisp palate with guava and apple. Beautifully
balanced with a refreshing mineral acidity giving a lingering finish. Likely lifespan 2019 with optimal years
being 2017/18. Try it with spicy, pan-seared scallops, asparagus
with grilled Parmesan cheese and fresh seafood.

Mount Benson region, the Norfolk Rise Vineyard is planted
on 180 hectares of undulating coastal hills. Within 5
kilometres of the ocean at 37 degrees south of the
equator, our Sauvignon Blanc is planted on near perfect
“Terra Rossa” soils, providing an ideal level of nutrient and
Sauvignon Blanc grapes were selected from
our Estate vineyard. The juice was clarified and fermented
in stainless steel tanks using a selection of aromatic yeast
stains. To maximise the retention of fresh fruit flavours
and aromas, the wine was bottled early and under screw
