Plenty of fresh apples and pears are complimented by florals, lemon and spice and a bright minerality balanced by a soft finish. Drink with fresh caught crayfish and salads. A true “Pinot Grigio” style – fresh, fruity and lively!

Palate: The wine is fresh and fruity with more pears, lemon
and spice balanced by a delicate and soft mineral finish.
This wine has a likely lifespan 2019 with optimal year being 2016/17.
Situated in the heart of the cool climate Mount Benson region, the Norfolk Rise Vineyard is planted on 180 hectares of undulating coastal hills. Within 5 kilometres of the ocean at 37 degrees south of the equator, our Pinot Grigio is planted on near perfect “Terra Rossa” soils, providing an ideal level of nutrient and water retention.
The grapes were selectively harvested at our
Estate Vineyards from late-February to early-March to
achieve optimum ripeness for the "Grigio" style. The juice
underwent a long, cool fermentation using a selection of
aromatic yeast strains. To maximise the retention of fresh
fruit flavours, this wine has been bottled under screw cap.
